The Vermilion
County Health Department provides a confidential setting for reproductive
healthcare services, including pregnancy testing, Pap smears, breast
exams, contraceptive supplies, emergency
contraception, educational services, STD testing
and HIV counseling.
We
are committed to assuring women of childbearing age the optimum
opportunity for wanted, successful pregnancies, following adequate
preparation for the motherhood role. Medical exams, pregnancy testing,
contraceptive supplies and educational services are offered to all
on the basis of voluntary participation. Because our Family Planning
services are subsidized by several combined grant sources, we are
able to offer a discounted fee schedule, based on family income; however, no one will be denied services, due to inability to pay. Call us
at 217-431-2662 to make an appointment for the confidential services
available at our Danville facility, or call 1-800-510-6559, ext
300 for services at our Hoopeston facility. If you have questions
or need more information, you may contact our Family Planning/STD/HIV Coordinator
